    ARTISTIC APPROACH

As a visual artist, I experience art as an ethic of life. My essential concern is to transmit to others my intuitions and reflections, carried by the visible signs of the splendor of the ancient Andean cultures of South America. Respect for and protection of Nature (Mother Earth Pachamama) constituted one of the essential foundations of these civilizations.

I thus develop a mode of creation in harmony with the principles of sustainability. My work establishes a bridge between past and present, between the memory of ancient civilizations and the challenges of the contemporary world, while merging these principles with the current concerns of my everyday European environment.

At the heart of my artistic approach, texture plays a fundamental role: it is a vehicle of memory. It does not merely represent stone and earth; it also embodies the spiritual strength of the ancestral peoples of the Andes, that timeless energy which crosses the ages and continues to resonate today. By integrating these elements into my work, I seek to create a dialogue between matter and history, to make the invisible visible.

Geometric forms and ancestral symbols are omnipresent in my work. Far more than simple motifs, they are universal languages carrying knowledge inscribed through time. In this fusion between tradition and modernity, I question our relationship to the sacred and to nature, while also examining the impact of globalization on the erasure of cultural identities and ancestral ecological knowledge.

Through painting, sculpture, drawing, and installation, I shape a language where matter and spirituality meet, where past and present confront and engage in dialogue. My objective is to awaken awareness in the face of contemporary ecological, cultural, and human challenges, while reaffirming the value of ancestral knowledge as a path toward the future.

This desire to preserve and transmit the customs, cosmovision, and the symbolic, geometric, and ritual interpretation of pre-Columbian civilizations through artistic expression is essential to me. These symbols, true carriers of memory and meaning, are the invisible links that weave together past and present, thus nourishing our future. For a country that loses its identity condemns itself to oblivion.

    And for me…

“The identity of a Nation is expressed through its symbols.”
